Dancing is my passion, dancing sparks a dream in me where I don’t

need wings to fly! I started dancing since I was three years old. Creative

Movement followed by Pre-Ballet paved my way to the Certified Ballet

course of my dance school. I have been learning Classical Ballet

(Vaganova) for about 4 years now. I have appeared for three Certified

Ballet Examinations so far. My most memorable moment was winning

the Silver Medal along with my group members for character dance

(Group Ballet) at the Mosaic All India Ballet Competition. Ballet has

taught me focus, discipline, dedication, and grace at the same time.

In the year 2020, I was looking forward to yet another exciting year of

Ballet!! Unfortunately, Covid struck and we faced unprecedented challenges in real life and

were stuck at home. Thankfully Covid could not dampen our spirit as my teachers at Bombay Ballet Company started conducting online Ballet classes for us. Since then we have been attending regular online classroom sessions thrice a week. So difficulties come and go but the spirit of Ballet wins everytime.

As they say “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”
