Certified Ballet

Age 8 and above

Our Certified Ballet Division at Bombay Ballet Company is affiliated to Ballet Manila – a ballet arts performing company and school in Manila, Philippines. We offer goal oriented, intensive classes. Our classes are well planned in the Vaganova Method.

Our students are required to attend twice a week classes as a beginner. As the student progresses to intermediate and advance lessons, they will require to attend classes thrice and four times a week.

At the end of the year, we conduct examinations wherein students are accessed based on their performance during these exams. 75% attendance is a criteria for these examinations.

Talented students are awarded scholarships to study Classical ballet at Ballet Manila’s summer intensive two month workshop.

These examinations are accessed by an examiner from Ballet Manila. Co-Artistic Director and competition coach Sir Osias Barroso has been the examiner in the period 2015-2018.

Key aspects of ballet training in RHF

Attendance: Maintaining regular attendance is crucial for a child’s progress in ballet.

Attire: School attire strictly needs to be followed.
